Our cooking classes
In "Staldkøkkenet" in Kødbyen, you are invited inside for a cozy evening, where you will be taught Japanese cuisine with a focus on sushi and the use of Danish seaweed. The teaching forms the framework for a cozy evening, where there is as much focus on the social as on the cooking itself. A cooking class at Saito is ideal for your next Christmas lunch, team building day or other corporate event.
What's on the program?
Chef Takashi Saito demonstrates different forms of Japanese sushi and shows how to use Danish seaweed in Japanese cooking. Participants will be introduced to various traditional techniques. Once they have the techniques in place, they will cook their own dinner under the guidance of our chef. There will be plenty of room for creativity in exploring flavours and plating. Finally, there will be a sushi competition between the participants.

We offer affordable drinks for our classes, including sake from renowned Kita Sake , seaweed beer from Herslev Bryghus and kombucha from Copenhagen Kombucha.
